WEEKLY BLOG :Week ending, Week 2, term 4  Friday 29th October.πŸ˜‰πŸ˜ŠπŸ’₯πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜„✋✋πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

And here we are at the end of week 2 of term 4 already.

The weeks are just racing past!

We have had a good week at Bubble School with our children constantly showing and displaying to each other our New Windsor Values , especially being kind anhd respectful to each other .

We the bubble school staff really do apreciate our 2 bubble class students  attendees, and thank them for showing such good manners and resilence in times that matter.

Today they were all out side socually distanced enjoying an arts and craft day , then the rain came to visitπŸ’¦πŸ’¦πŸ’¦πŸ’¦πŸ’¦πŸ’¦πŸ’¦πŸ’¦πŸ’¦πŸ’¦πŸ˜²πŸ˜²πŸ˜²

This  didnt dampen  our moods as we moved the activities into the hall space, again, socially distancing.

So we have now been given a tentative date for Primary Schools to be returning, with the emphsis on the word : Tentative. What ever that means.

We await more details from Minister Chris Hipkins as to what Staggered attendance looks like, and means.

AGAIN, THE BEST AND SAFEST PLACE FOR EVERYONE TO BE AT THE MOMENT, IS AT HOME.

Have you taken time to read some of our student blogs and class blogs?

There are some very creative and well composed stories written by students that will keep you as the audience captivated to read on..

Please check out and comment on  our class/student  blogs as our teachers and students put a lot of work into these.πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ˜€πŸ˜€

A final reminder that the Ministry of Education rules for Halloween are:

At alert level 3, tamariki will not be able to go trick or treating on Sunday.

While we cant celebrate Halloween in the usual way, there are are alternative options you can do at home in your bubble.

Try a Halloween themed scavenger hunt in your back yard.

Decorate your house in a spooky dtyle.

Have a virtual costume party via zoom with friends and whanau.

Watch a movie with popcorn and other treasts togther as a whanau.

Happy Halloween going out to everyone, for those that do like to celebrate the occassion.

Take care over the weekend, stay safe, and keep smilingπŸ˜€πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜

Naku noa,

We were all hoping and anticipating returning to School this week for the start of term 4 😟😟😞

We all need to be safe and stay safe, as we all do our part to fight the Delta covid pandemic.

Parents please ensure that your children connect with their class teacher on a daily basis .

If you need to know what the learning is for the week or need some support with distance learning programmes please email your childs teacher.πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ˜‡πŸ˜‡

Next week is also where some families like to celebrate Halloween which will be at the end of next week.

Please take  note of the Ministry of Education advice regarding what happens during level 3 for Halloween as we are still in level 3 guidelines and rules:

At Alert Level 3 , tamariki(Children ) will not be able to go trick or treating.

While we cant celebrate  Halloween in the usual way, there are alternative options you can do at home in your bubble.

Try a Halloween themed movie night with your bubble.

Decorate your house in a spooky style.

Have a virtual costume party with friends and Whanau online.

At alert level 3, indoor gatherings are not allowed.

You can meet up with friends and family from only 1 other bubble as long  as the meeting takes place outside, with up to 10 people.

Please keep safe out there everyone, our teachers are doing  a great job in  planning distance learning programmes  for their classes and tamariki in these uncertain times.

We are all in this togther, and working on eliminating the Covid  Delta virus togther , and as a  Country of 5 million we will get there.

Weekly Blog .Week 10 of term 3 Friday October 1st.

Who would of thought we would get to the end of term 3 and be spending more time in Pandemic lock down than actually at school being face to face , enjoying being with our friends and getting on with learning...πŸ“€πŸ“‰πŸ“—πŸ“˜πŸ“™πŸ”πŸ’‘πŸ’‘

There is a saying that goes:

A pinch and a punch for the first of the month, which is a saying to wish good tidings upon us all at the beginning of a new month.

We have been very busy with Bubble School class this week and getting on with the business of making learning fun. Our  Essential workers children have been a pleasure to have at bubble school, and are looking forward to fun times at home during the holidays.πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘¨πŸ‘©

As the holidays approach we wait in anticipation as we get to find out on Mondays Covid briefing how long we will be in level 3 for.

Next term being term 4,  will begin with the Celebration of Niuean and Cook Island language weeks which will feature many activities for students to engage in as a class and as individuals .

I would like to end this blog  with a very speacial Thank you message to all our Parents and students for keeping calm and carrying on in making what we all could out of a very topsy tervy unpredictable  term 3.

We have all shown and put into  practice  our school vales of resilence, co operation, being respectful ans collaborating as a few examples over lock down distance learning programmes times of term 3.

This was clearly evident on the daily  class zooms meetings as far as our students connecting and coping with learning of a new type that could be our norm for the way that future learning will/may  happen.

Thank you one and all for your support , and maanakitanga towards our teachers and distance learning programmes requirements.

It is now time for us all to disconnect with our learning devices and create some fun times with our families and loved ones.

See you all in term 4, heres hoping we will have more weeks at school and not carrying on with many more weeks of having to be in level 3 ✌πŸ‘Œ

Take care everyone, rest up, and be kind to each other.

Lets all go find some shine shine..

No Reira, me mitaki lahi ,

Ms Siohane.

Summer is coming, and so will be the radient sun shine weather of Summer....πŸ˜„πŸ˜„πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ‘
